bizzie Bizzie woke up one morning to find that the sun had not come up. It was already 7:30 a.m. but it appeared as though it were 10:30 at night. The stars were gleaming and the moon was illuminated. Nonetheless, she got up and completed her morning routine. The bus was outside waiting for her as she sprayed some perfume into her red hair. She grabbed a granola bar and boarded the school bus.

"Does anyone else here notice something weird about the sky?" Bizzie called out to the passengers on bus 1121. Everyone just shrugged and went back to what they were doing. When she got to school, Bizzie didn't know who to turn to for advice. Everyone seemed to go along with the abnormal sky.

"Beautiful day we're having," someone yelled sarcastically.

"Who said that?" Bizzie asked forcefully, looking in all directions.

"Me," said a boy sitting alone in outside the main building of the school,

"I sense your troubles and have some information you might be interested in."

"Really?" Bizzie asked suspiciously. The boy appeared to be about 17 and was wearing a t-shirt that said "I Want To Believe" with a picture of a flying saucer on it. She wondered if this was the kind of person she should be talking to.

"Yeah," he told her, "The name's Fox Mulder. Care to sit down?" Bizzie hesitated and then finally sat down next to him.

"I'm Bizzie Lizzie. Nice to meet you. Can you provide me with a scientific explanation for the sudden change in the sky?"

"I don't know about a scientific explanation, but I can provide you with some insight."

"Go ahead, then."

"The way I see it," Fox told her, "Something hit the planet last night that stopped the Earth's rotation."

"Like what?"

"Like something from another planet whose magnetic field is so strong that it's holding the Earth in place just by being at a certain location- maybe in this very town."

"But that's crazy! How could that happen?"

"Believe me it could. As a brother of an alien abduct-"

"A WHAT?" She was beginning to doubt Fox Mulder's credibility.

"Never mind. But no matter what hit our planet, people on the other side of the Earth are dying of UV rays while we will freeze to death in a matter of days."

"What can we do? We don't have much time!"

"I'm going to pay a visit to FBI headquarters. I think they may know something about this."

"You're suggesting that the government knows something that we don't?"

"WELL, DUH!"

"You don't have to be so cold about it," Bizzie told him, offended.

"Sorry. Look, meet me during your free period."

"But how will I find you?"

"Don't worry, I'll find you."
At 1:50, Bizzie waited outside of the cafeteria for Fox. She didn't even know why she was doing this, but for some reason she felt drawn to him. It was almost as though they had met somewhere before. "BOO!" Bizzie jumped ten feet high.

"DON'T EVER DO THAT TO ME," she told him, "I get startled very easily."

"Gee, you'd never know it," he said sarcastically, "Now let's go. I'll drive."

"Did you sign us out in the office?" Bizzie asked him. Fox looked at her very strangely. "Never mind. Don't you think this is all a bit far fetched?"

"My dear Bizzie, that's why they put the F in the FBI."

At 2:15 they arrived at the FBI headquarters in Washington D.C. Bizzie noticed two older men outside who appeared to be waiting for something. She had a feeling that they knew something about what had happened, but she kept her mouth shut.
"You know, that's very bad for your health," Fox remarked to the one who was smoking a cigarette. "Cigarette Smoking Guy," as Bizzie named him, just shrugged and let another puff of smoke come out of his mouth. "Come on, Bizzie," Fox told her. The two high school students entered the building.

"Who should we ask for?" she asked Fox.

"Nobody. Did you see Cigarette Smoking Guy, Bizzie? Did you? I think there's something very suspicious about him."

"What are you suggesting?"

"I don't know, but I think we should follow him."

"Fox, that's bizarre!"

"But Bizzie, that's why they put the B in the FBI!"

Bizzie looked at him very strangely and then agreed to follow Cigarette Smoking Guy. They casually went back outside and got into Fox's car. Cigarette Smoking Guy and the Well Manicured Guy who was standing near him got into a car with tinted windows and sped down the street. Fox stepped on the accelerator as hard as he could and followed the two men to a warehouse in the suburbs.

"All right," Fox told his new friend, "We're going to wait until they're in and then sneak in an alternate exit."

"Fox, this is going too far. Take me back to school." Fox suddenly got very angry.

"You're just going to give up like that, after all we've worked for? I thought you were different, you know? I thought you wanted to believe."

"Believe what?" she asked. "Is there something you're not telling me?"

"You're just like all the other kids. When we get back to school you're going to tell everyone what a freak I am."

"That's not true!" Bizzie insisted, "And besides, you've only known me for about 6 hours. You have no idea what kind of freak I am. I should be the one that's worried, ya know."

"Then we'll be freaks together and uncover the truth. We're so close, don't you see? This is it, Bizzie."

"Is that why they put the I in the FBI?" she asked, half jokingly. Fox laughed.

"I stands for investigation, silly. You've really got a lot to learn."

Once inside the warehouse, Fox and Bizzie could faintly hear the voice of Cigarette Smoking Guy. It appeared as though he were addressing a group of people. The two teenagers tiptoed behind a stack of crates and peaked from behind them.

"So as you can see, gentlemen," Cigarette Smoking Guy told everyone, "We have everything under control. The UFO will remain in my hands, and the visitors will be dealt with accordingly." Fox's eyes widened. "In addition, using the alien technology, we will be able to get the Earth spinning again and create enough momentum to return it to normal."

"Excellent," Well Manicured Guy commented, "But what about the population? They are obviously suspicious."

"I've also taken care of that," Cigarette Smoking Guy explained as he inhaled, "We will also be launching chemicals into the Earth's atmosphere which will erase any recollection of today's events from the minds of the civilians." Fox couldn't believe what he was hearing. He wished that he had a tape recorder or something so that he could expose this to the world. And that's when he noticed that Bizzie had fainted. Carefully, he managed to smuggle her out of the warehouse without being detected by Cigarette Smoking Guy or any of the people he was addressing. Fox put her down in the backseat of his car and drove away as fast as he could.

"Why am I in the backseat?" asked Bizzie as she sat up.

"You fainted," Fox explained.

"Wow, I must have been really nervous," she said, "I'm glad you changed your mind, though."

"About what?" he asked.

"About going in the warehouse."

Fox slammed on the breaks and turned around. "What do you mean? That's where you fainted."

"No I didn't! The last thing I remember was telling you to take me back." Fox couldn't believe it.

"They drugged you, didn't they- those jerks!"

"What are you talking about?"

"They must have spotted your red hair! Oh Bizzie, I'm sorry."

"What are you talking about?"

"Promise me you'll never forget what happened today. Please promise me that."

"I won't, Fox, I won't ever forget." Just then, Fox and Bizzie heard a great explosion. Fox grabbed Bizzie's hand and held it tightly until there was a blinding burst of light and Bizzie woke up to the sun shining brightly through her window.
